Louise Rahn shone at the world championships, held at the ENVSN (National Sailing and Water Sports School) in Quiberon, in the RS Aero category. With two youth titles and a third place overall, the Frenchwoman shows great promise aboard a boat she was discovering for the first time.
The RS Aero World and Youth Championships were held at the ENVSN (National Sailing and Water Sports School) from July 27 to August 2 in Quiberon. On this occasion, young Louise Rahn shone: she finished third overall in the women's category and first in the U17 and U22 categories after 13 highly competitive races. The Cannes Yacht Club member thus rose above more than 60 male and female competitors.
The fleet of 62 RS Aero 5s was also the most widely represented class with a fleet of 62 boats. This contingent has doubled in the space of two years, while achieving gender parity.
